Comparative proteomic analysis
of M. truncatula Jemalong J5 roots in interaction either with an AM fungus or
a bacterium
1. The comparative proteomic analysis of M. truncatula Jemalong J5 roots in interaction either with of the arbuscular mycorrhizal fungus Glomus mosseae (Nicol. & Gerd.) Gerd. & Trappe (BEG 12) or the bacterium Sinorhizobium meliloti (RCR 2011) has been carried out.
Differentially displayed proteins during mycorrhization and nodulation were detected by two-dimensional electrophoresis (2-DE) during time course experiments going from 2 to 42 days post inoculation, some of which were identified by MALDI-TOF or tandem mass spectrometry [3, 4].

3 week old control roots. One hundred microgram proteins were separated
onto first dimension pH 3-10 IPG gels and second dimension 12% vertical
slab gels. Click on areas A to F to view detailed pictures. |
